400 Days by Chetan Bhagat is a child-abduction mystry solving novel tracing the events from Little Siya getting Abducted from her grandparents home and finally being found on the 400th day. Hence, the Title.
It is the Third Case solved by Keshav Rajpurohit, including the one in The Girl in Room 105 and One Arranged Murder. The whole series is interesting and hooking yet abiding by the simplicity of language and understanding.
The main characters of the novel are Keshav Rajpurohit and Saurabh, the two detectives, Alia Arora , the mother of the Abducted kid Siya Arora, Manish Arora( Siya's father) . Rest of the characters includes the members of Join Family of Aroras, parents of Keshav and the suspects and Definately, Pandit Shastriji.
Various Aspects of early teens and the dangers of keeping them hidden from the parents or our gaurdinas have been mentioned here. Teens need to understand till what extent they are allowed to trust a person , especially on social media. Not just the kids' side is at fault. Even a few parents busy with their own life and issues then to neglect what their kid expects from them. Both the sides must come together and trust each other. It wasn't the main theme of the novel but it was mentioned , give it a Thought.
Well, it's hurting to read the end of the novel and see Keshav sacrifice again for the sake of betterment of Siya and more importantly Alia. Keshav loses it all the time! Why ...
People are betrayed by the people they trust blindly. What if tue person you trust the most is into superstition? How far could you trust them. Trace the story to know what all stuff happened in those 400 days.
Happy reading.
Thank You

"Both Parents and Teachers must come together and trust eachother." Absolutely correct 😀. And to answer the question about trusting the person who is superstitious, well, only time will tell, and if the person is right, and if he really is, You'll definitely be rewarded for your trust, and not to forget, patience too...
