current chain of thoughts

Hey There,  It's been a while I haven't vented out the things going on in the chaotic world around me. These are just my personal thoughts. Could be wrong. May not align with yours. But they are as they are presented. Don't get me wrong. Being chaotic isn't a bad thing. Shall I rather use the word, Dynamic? Happening? More than what I think I should get involved into ? There is a lot going on. There would always be something going on. (The irony is, when I have actually taken out time to write down, the thoughts do not come.) Let's get going! I love it when I read the novels having the real happenings faced by the author, the kind of books written in first person? They aren't as preaching as the self help ones. They ain't fantasies which couldn't come true. They are just being real, narrating what happened and how the author feels about it.   The life's is going to be a long learning process and as we all might have read, lot of shit is waiting for u...

Book Review: This Delicious Life (JustMyThoughts)

Written by Lekshmi Gopinathan, This Delicious Life is a delicious affair.  The book is uniquely written as each of the chapter has a particular dish specific to it. The story moves forward taking the essence of that dish with it. Till now, seeing food just as a source of energy to the grumbling stomach and a taste stimuli to uplift the mood , we often fail to see the other side of the story, which is the process, efforts and emotions poured to make the marvel ready to take you under its spell.               Talking about the story, the story is plotted in a small village named Iraalpatinam. The Sarpanch, Radha stands strong to lead her village, her responsibility towards development, The life there is something the residents are proud of. Vishal, the District Collector, crosses paths with Radha as he have to take charge of the developments aimed to happen. Gerry, a free spirited man needing something he can really connect him self with something h...

Book Review :An Unexpected Gift by Ajay K Pandey ( JustMyThoughts)

Best known for his stories that strikes the emotional cord with the reader , this story by Ajay K Pandey  adds on the list as well. At times I feel, the stories are too good to be happening in the real world. Are these tales based on real life happenings?                     (From Google images )   The novel traces the story of Mr. Abhay, who having lost his wife while his son is still young, struggles to put the pieces of his life together as one. He having to cope up with the memories and death of his loving wife and on the other hand, have a young son to be taken care of. His performance at his workplace wasn't commendable as well. On being advised by his  boss, he hires a lady for taking care of his son while he is off to work. Sheetal's profile just being an employee as a baby sitter doesn't match with her education and the overall way she carries herself in the society. Despite appearing as the women belonging to a g...

Being idle

Do you ever feel that its just you, in the whole chaotically running world, sitting ideal with nothing major at hand to capture your mind out of the reality. Its a strange feeling to have.  its not that I lack  a plan for the prosperous future or love spending time lying on the couch and keeping the gaze up the screen but not really paying attention or even care to watch it mindfully. Being very much aware about the to-dos and meet ups, I sometimes don't feel like moving ahead with the day. its tough to get started, to make my brain move on its lethargic states. At these times, I have aspirations of no more than texting and having good chats with my colleagues, family or friends.  So, as a aspirational person would do,   Taking a step for my wishes, , I text them. Their internet is turned off, meaning, my wish didn't even reach an inch closer to them. O check my phone every other minute to see the same response. The clocks ticking off and instead of m...

Because Shit Happened                - Harsh Snehanshu (Author) Because Shit Happened is a novel based on real-life events of the author, Harsh Snehanshu, with his experiences in the adventurous world of start-ups. Just after going through the concise and sharp prologue, I know it was a thing to be grabbed.                      ( My phone gallary) Fast forward to the thoughts after finishing the novel, it was a read worth the time dedicated. Written by Harsh Snehanshu, it is based on a real life story begins at the spark of start-up idea, convincing a team to work for the idea and the issues there after. The protagonist, Amol Sabharwal is obsessed with one liners and  quotes and in an attempt to have a niche for himself, he thinks of an idea to have a platform where a common man can quote unique and creative one lines and would get credit for the same. Dont worry, you wont lose it .

Have you ever heard of a phrase which means something like - giving instant replies make them lose your value ? Do you feel it's true ? I didn't. One day, while working on am article:- which meant I was working on the laptop with multiple tabs on , screening at me to work, work , work which I want much gravitated into, I added another tab and typed in web.whatsapp.com. There came my already logged in screen with all the people I had chatted with, for work or non-work purpose. I texted a friend on mine. It was just an  "Hey, How's things been?" I shifted on the other tabs and kept my focus on the work. I have to finish the chunk as soon as possible as my mom was in the other room, watching a movie all by herself. I wanted to accompany her, even if that meant doing nothing and watching the movie I wasn't really in. I am not really a  movie person, you know, unless itis really exceptionally or meaningful. I planed to make tea which would accompany us as a good b...
